New year, new increases.
Netflix has raised the prices of its subscription services in the US and Canada.
The streaming giant said the existing customers will receive an email notice 30 days before the increase enters effect.
According to Reuters reports, the company said, “we’re updating our prices so that we can continue to offer a wide variety of quality entertainment options”.
Here are new prices for both countries:
US increases
- Basic $8.99 -> $9.99
- Standard $13.99 -> $15.49
- Premium $17.99 -> $19.99
Canada increases
Basic -> $9.99
Standard -> $16.49
Premium -> $20.99
