Twitter users in Russia are finding it difficult to access the platform in some parts of the country.
The platform confirmed that they’re aware of the outages and they’re working on it to restore the services.
The Twitter spokesperson said, “We’re aware of reports that people are increasingly having difficulty accessing Twitter in Russia. We’re investigating and working to fully restore access to our service”.
There are some suggestion reports that the Twitter outages have to do with Russia’s communications regulator, Roskomnadzor trying to prevent the microblogging site to do its job.
Twitter outages, apparently it has to do with President Vlad Putin’s regime to censor the free flow of information in his country.
