The NFT bubble is far from over as many organisations are jumping on the bandwagon.
Delhi Capitals, the Indian Premier League [IPL] franchise is the latest cricket team to venture into the NFTs land. The IPL giants have partnered with FanCraze to launch an NFT project.
Vinod Bisht, Interim chief executive of the Delhi Capitals said, “Delhi Capitals is proud to partner with FanCraze, and to launch the Indian cricket ecosystem into the next generation of sports-based assets and apps”.
“We will be debuting the first Delhi Capitals’ NFTs in early June, and are really excited to give our fans the ability to own a piece of their favourite team and players. FanCraze has already shown us what is possible if one combines creators, cricketers, content, and commerce.”
Anshum Bhambri, chief executive of FanCraze, said “FanCraze is pioneering new innovations in sports-based digital collectables with its thriving cricket NFT marketplace and games like FanCraze Flash.”
“The partnership with Delhi Capitals will allow us to further accelerate our foray into play-to-earn gaming and to bring-to-market new offerings for Indian cricket fans,” Bhambri added.
