The crypto market has stalled in 2022.
That hasn’t stopped the hype in the world of Formula One racing.
F1 is nuts for crypto. 8 of the 10 teams racing in the international series have crypto related sponsors. Crypto.com also has a multi-year naming rights deal for the F1 race in Miami.
- Red Bull and Ferrari are two of the biggest teams in F1 – both announced new crypto sponsorship deals this year.
Why does it matter? F1 has zoomed in popularity since the popular NFLX series “Drive to Survive” debuted a few years ago. F1 organizers think crypto and F1 fans are a match made in heaven because of the tech aspect.
Many F1 fans are gear heads, engineers, and tech lovers.
“Crypto fans are savvy, tech focused consumers – it’s a good fit” – McLaren Racing CEO.
