Google Maps introduces a new feature about toll pricing

Google Maps to make travelling and planning for motorists more smooth with a new feature that will add toll amounts on your route. Users will be able to choose cheaper or affordable routes on their travelling.

The newly launched feature is already available on both iOS and Android for users in India, the US, Japan and Indonesia. Google plans to roll out the feature worldwide in the coming weeks and months.

The company in a blog said, “We look at factors like having a toll pass or not, what the day of the week it is, along with how much the toll is expected to cost at the specific time you’ll be crossing it.”

“You will have the option within settings to show toll prices with or without having a toll pass–as in many geographies the price changes based on the payment method you use,” adds the company.
