MTN has appointed David Behr as the new chief executive of the ICT Centre of Excellence (CoE) for MTN Group and MTN South Africa starting from 1 November 2023. According to the company Behr has a strong background in enterprise cloud, cyber security, IOT solutions and platform development, among other areas.
The ICT CoE is a central unit within MTN that develops and promotes best practices, processes and standards for the business. It also drives platform and solution development, which are then deployed to business units for execution and customer implementation.

He is currently CEO of Liquid C2, where he has played a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s achievements, further cementing his reputation as a visionary leader. Behr will succeed Vaughn Naidoo, who held the interim position.
