Warner Bros. Games has hired video game company 2K’s chief marketing officer Melissa Bell as its new executive vice president of global marketing.
In her new role, Bell will oversee all aspects of the Warner Bros. Discovery gaming division’s marketing strategy and global consumer-facing marketing functions across the company’s console, mobile and PC games portfolio.
She will report directly to Warner Bros. Games presidentt David Haddad.
Bell will lead the marketing departments, including brand and performance marketing, creative, social, community, analytics and research and franchise planning. Her focus will be on scaling marketing investments effectively to grow franchises, deepen engagement, and attract new audiences.
Prior to joining Warner Bros. Games, Bell served as the chief marketing officer of 2K. She has also held leadership positions at Volkswagen Group, Jaguar, WPP, and Publicis, working across the U.S. and territories including Australia, China, Singapore and Hong Kong.
