TikTok knows how to entice its users to post, share more content and keep coming for more. The short-video social media platform has unveiled a new feature called ‘TikTok NOW’ that requires users to take a daily picture and video experience of themselves within a two-minute time limit.
The platform calls it “share your most authentic moments with the people who matter the most. TikTok Now brings the authenticity of TikTok to a whole new creative experience that connects you with those closest to you.”
“Making possible deeper connection and entertainment in a fun format, TikTok Now invites you and your friends to capture what you’re doing at the moment using your device’s front and back camera. You’ll receive a daily prompt to capture a 10-second video or a static photo to easily share what you’re up to,” reads the company’s blog.
The company plans to roll out TikTok Now in the coming few weeks, it also adds that the new feature will be available on the TikTok app for the US market. As for other region, TikTok Now will be available as a new TikTok Now app that they have to download.
“We’ll continue to enhance the user experience as we learn more about how the TikTok community embraces this new creative format,” adds the company.
“We’re always looking to create seamless ways for our community to build authentic connections as they continue to be entertained on TikTok. TikTok Now is rolling out to people worldwide over the coming weeks. We’re excited to learn from our community and continue to improve, enrich, and expand on the TikTok experience,” it concludes.
