Adult platform OnlyFans’ CEO Amrapali Gan announced that she’s leaving the company to pursue other interests in marketing and consumer experience. Gan has been leading the company for the past two and a half years as CEO.

In a LinkedIn post Gan wrote about her departure: “Spending nearly 3 years at OnlyFans while it echoed throughout the cultural zeitgeist, has been beyond rewarding. Within this time I’ve accomplished incredible goals for the business including enhancing its priority focus on platform safety, scaling the organisation globally, and growing OF’s diverse community of creators and fans.”

As part of a smooth transition, the company announced that Keily Bair would take over reins. Bair is OnlyFans’ chief strategy and operations officer Keily Blair will head the company.

The Mumbai born entrepreneur and business executive revealed her next chapter in business, she has founded Hoxton Projects, a marketing company.

According to the new company’s website it seeks to “supports founders and growing businesses on how to best communicate and market their purpose and competitive advantage. While reimagining the agency paradigm, Hoxton stands at the intersection of strategic business growth, marketing, and innovation.”

Founded in 2016, OnlyFans made a name for itself as a platform hosting adult content. It came into the limelight during the pandemic, when many adult content creators shifted to the platform due to lockdowns.

The platform allowed people with huge social media followings to monetise their content without promotions or paid ads. It was a breakthrough for adult entertainers, who had found it challenging to get viewership earlier.

OnlyFans takes a 20% cut from the $5 to $50 payments fans make and allows content creators to share video clips, articles and messages.
