Standard Bank has appointed Diana Springer as the new group head of brand and marketing. It’s great to see people who understand advertising and marketing move through the ranks and take the position of influence, within the banking and the financial sector.
Springer will be responsible for the strategic positioning of the Standard Bank brand and the execution of the brand and marketing operating model.
She’s moving from advertising agency side into corporate side, previously she was head of CRM Strategy at Ogilvy SA. In 2018 she was a founding partner of Black & White, a marketing strategy consultancy within the M&C Saatchi Group, and in 2022 was appointed to the M&C Saatchi group exco as the chief data and intelligence officer.
