Have you ever felt like what you are doing everyday is not very significant? Maybe you’re just one of many at your workplace, or maybe you’re a student going to classes everyday, or maybe you’re at home with the kids and you’re not so sure how much of a difference you make?
We need you more than you know! What do I mean by this? God is using you in ways you never imagined, and the world needs what you bring, the world needs your light.
Sometimes we underestimate who God has made us to be. It’s actually in the little things that the biggest differences are made. Maybe it’s the fact that you always show up for your kids sports events that brings life to them. Or the fact that you always come into the office with a smile or even the moments that you are able to have a deep conversation with a fellow student. These can seem like ‘small moments’ to us, but they have a deep impact on the world around us.
It wasn’t Jesus’ massive miracles that changed the world. It wasn’t the feeding of the 5000 or the calming of the storm. It was the fact that He poured into 12 men day in and day out, that when He left, they were able to take the gospel to the world. It was messy and imperfect, but we have what we have today because of the everyday moments Jesus had with His disciples.
I’m asking you today, who is around you? How can you be a consistent source of joy and peace to them? You don’t need to change their lives with every word you say, but the fact that you are there and you care does more than you know.
Be who God has made you to be, don’t hold back. Even if it feels like what you’re doing isn’t changing the world, keep going and do it with all your heart. God will use you to do more than you ever planned.
Praying for your week, that you are blessed and you bless those around you.
Be blessed
