Tiger and Rory ‘s TMRW Sports invests in Fastbreak.ai ahead of debut TGL season

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy-backed TMRW Sports is investing in intelligent scheduling platform Fastbreak.ai as part of a wider deal that will see the technology deployed in its events – including the TGL golf competition.

Technology is a foundational element of TMRW Sports’ TGL concept. It hopes to attract new fans to the sport by offering short-form, team-based competitions that take place in a single tech-infused arena. The league’s purpose-built facility in Florida houses a data-driven virtual course and a short game complex powered by state-of-the-art simulator technology, giant screens, and motorised greens.

“At TMRW Sports, we’re committed to innovation and utilising best-in-class technologies to move our business forward. Partnering with Fastbreak.ai reflects that with their AI-powered scheduling platform creating the most efficient and engaging schedules for leagues,” said Joey Brander, vice president for corporate development at TMRW Sports. “We’re pleased to be investing in Fastbreak.ai alongside premier leagues like the NBA and NHL and look forward to working together to add value to the company.”

“We’re thrilled to partner with TMRW Sports and TGL presented by SoFi to bring our cutting-edge scheduling technology to one of the most-exciting new leagues in sports,” said John Stewart, Fastbreak.ai chief executive. “This partnership demonstrates the versatility of our platform and its ability to deliver customised solutions for leagues of all sizes, including the dynamic and fast-paced environment of TGL and future modern media approaches to sports by TMRW Sports.”
