Unseen footage at the center of “Sean Combs: The Reckoning” is raising new questions about how the documentary came together — and who really controls Diddy’s story.
According to new reporting by Atlanta Black Star, filmmakers hired by Combs to document his final days in New York never got paid or contracted, and the footage ultimately landed with Netflix. Director Alexandria Stapleton says her team obtained it legally and protected the original filmmakers’ identities.
The documentary’s release has sparked fallout, including public pushback from Combs’ legal team and a deeply personal response from Misa Hylton about rumors involving her son.
“Sean Combs: The Reckoning” is now streaming on Netflix.
