President Ramaphosa’s speeches are unnecessarily too long. Once you have a speech that lasts almost 2 hours it’s a problem because key message gets lost in the long delivery. That speech is bound to be cluttered and lose people because it is too long.
Mr. Ramaphosa’s advisors must help him to become much more effective and focused in his delivery of speeches.
I would suggest that they must cut his speech delivery time to 18 minutes. If his speech is too long he must have spoken for 25 minutes. He must focus his speech on five key policy issues that speak to his key message and stop waffling for 2 hours with things that he will not remember himself when he finishes speaking.
Also I cannot blame his advisors alone, the president must also take the blame for his long political speeches because he reviews them before he delivers them. Why is he not reducing the length and speak to things that are realistic because often times it is just empty promises.
