The South African cricket team, after working their tail off to level the Betway Test Series against India at Wanderers, Johannesburg after total collapse from 1st test series at the SuperSport Park, Centurion, Pretoria.
Now the roads lead to the Mother City’s Newlands Stadium, Cape Town to face India in the last test match series. At the moment I do have confidence in the team. Hopefully, the team can display the same aggression they showed in Johannesburg.
According to the Proteas team report, the team is going to Cape Town with the same squad they played with both in Johannesburg and Centurion. For me I think is a risky strategy, because at the moment they will be faced with a wounded Indian cricket team that want to settle a score.
I think the South African cricket team should beef up their batting order lineup by bringing someone or an all-rounder to bet on number seven since they have four-seamers.
While on the other hand, India is planning to bring back their test captain, Virat Kohli to the team, who can inspire and inject confidence in the team.
For now, let us give the Proteas the benefit of the doubt, hopefully, they can bring something special to cheer the Mzansi nation at large.
Good Luck the Proteas.
