Amazon and Visa have resolved their differences over payments fees disputes in the (UK) United Kingdom and worldwide.
The online retail giant spokesperson recently told Reuters, “We’ve recently reached a global agreement with Visa that allows all customers to continue using their Visa credit cards in our stores.”
What sparked the feud between the two brands?
Earlier this year Amazon threatened to stop accepting Visa payments in the UK and some parts of the world, citing the high fees in charges for credit card transactions.
To date, both brands managed to find each other to resolve the matter.
In a statement, Visa spokesperson said, “This agreement includes the acceptance of Visa at all Amazon stores and sites today, as well as a joint commitment to collaboration on new product and technology initiatives.”
