Twitter pushes a quick trial against Elon Musk, while musk’s camp says not so fast… maybe next year

Twitter lawyers are pressing charges against Elon Musk for not buying the social media platform, and they want the matter to appear in court as soon as possible.

Tesla founder and CEO’s legal team are pushing back for the case not to take place this year. Musk’s lawyers are aiming for 13 February 2023, which they describe as too soon for this case of this nature.

“Twitter’s sudden request for warp speed after two months of foot-dragging and obfuscation is its latest tactic to shroud the truth about spam accounts long enough to railroad defendants into closing,” Musk’s legal team wrote.

Twitter is fighting hard because they know that its credibility is at stake, Wafa Wafa. As for Musk, he archived his objectives to raise money by reducing and selling some of his Tesla stocks.

What’s next with the case?

The judge is expected to evaluate the case on 19 July 2020.
