Meta is creating a bridge for its users to take part in and distribute their web3 initiatives. The company recently announced that it will allow its users to post their NFTs across both Facebook and Instagram. This comes after months of experimenting with the NFTs on both platforms.
Users will be able to connect their wallets like Rainbow, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet and Dapper Wallet to post digital collectibles minted on Ethereum, Polygon and Flow.
In a blog post Meta said: “As we continue rolling out digital collectibles on Facebook and Instagram, we’ve started giving people the ability to post digital collectibles that they own across both Facebook and Instagram. This will enable people to connect their digital wallets once to either app in order to share their digital collectibles across both.”
Meta is taking advantage of its market size to make the NFTs feature available to a far and wide audience.
For now, the ability to cross-post NFTs on both Instagram and Facebook is currently available to the USA market, Meta is yet to announce when the feature will be available worldwide.
