TikTok announced the rollout of the Dislike button on the social media platform for all its users worldwide. This comes after months of testing the new feature with selected users.
“Earlier this year, we started to test a new way people could identify comments they believe to be irrelevant or inappropriate,” TikTok said in a tweet.
“After some testing, we’re releasing it globally. We’ve created it as a new way to hear feedback directly from our community. This allows us to better identify irrelevant or inappropriate comments, which helps us foster a comment section for genuine and authentic interactions.”
With the latest release feature, the social media platform joins the likes of YouTube and Reddit which have some variation of a dislike button.
