Gareth Cliff announced that he’s launching his own tequila brand in 2023. The CliffCentral co-founder, president and host made the revelation on his morning radio show on CliffCentral.com on 27 October 2022.
He mentioned that the move is a passion project and he has been planning to do something different outside his brainchild streaming and podcasts station and this is it. During the show, Cliff spoke about the history of tequila and where it originates which is Mexico, he sounded knowledgeable about the background of tequila and how it’s made.
Cliff shared with his co-host Phumi Mashego that plans to launch the brand are already at the advanced stage, he designed the product and packaging with a global appeal as he hopes to sell the product locally and internationally.
CliffCentral listeners, his community and the rest of the country and the world can expect the product on retail outlets and online around April 2023.
Maybe we can also expect a podcast series around his tequila brand as CliffCentral previously produced a Gin-Cast, a podcast series about the history of Gin.
