Paramount+ and Formula 1 signs multi year broadcast rights and sponsorship deal

Paramount+ announced that it is now an official partner of Formula 1 race, this comes after both parties signed a multi-year deal to bring the sports into the streaming platform.

As part of the deal, Paramount+ branding will now also be visible at various stops on the F1 2023 calendar, set to include on-track appearances, as well as on physical trackside signs. The deal also covers promotional content and digital sponsorships.

“This partnership exemplifies Formula 1’s ongoing commitment to exploring new avenues to help promote the sport and appeal to new audiences,” said Formula 1’s managing director of commercial Brandon Snow.

“Paramount+ and the content on its platform are hugely popular and like F1 has experienced rapid growth in recent years.

“Together, we will use our global platforms and collective expertise in entertainment to further enhance the fan experience and take both Formula 1 and Paramount+ to new levels.”

The first race where we can expect to see the presence of Paramount+ is the Miami Grand Prix, the stop which follows the upcoming Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

This will be followed by appearances at the rounds in Canada, Austria, Britain, Italy, Japan, Austin, Mexico, Brazil and Las Vegas.
