The City of Johannesburg has launched its own online radio station called ‘Joburg Pulse‘.
A radio station like this is an ideal for a big metro like City of Joburg to connect with its residents and to address issues that affects people of jozi on daily basis, like water, electricity, fixing streets lights, utility bills and fixing potholes of the roads.
Mayor of Joburg Geoff Makhubo in a Twitter post said, “The @CityofJoburgZA has officially launched its online radio station #JoburgPulse, in an aim to close the digital divide in the city, as we move to a digital age, which is the Fourth Industrial Revolution. #WeServeJoburg #JoburgPulse“
The station is currently asking Johannesburg based musicians to submit their music to be played on #JoburgPulse. If your an independent musician you can send your music on joburgpulse@joburg.org.za.
