Fit24Gyms after dominating the coastal region of Kwazulu Natal (KZN), the brand has morphed to the highveld with a new brand extension Fit24Gyms Premier Sandton health club.
Fit24Gyms Premier Sandton is located on the 10th floor of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Sandton, Johannesburg. The luxury fitness emporium is surrounded by inspiring panoramic views overlooking Sandton’s business district and green pristine park around the area.
Business travellers or anyone for that matter can access the health club with ease as it is located at in a prime location in the heart Sandton, just down the road from Africa’s biggest Stock Exchange the JSE, Gautrain station and Sandton City Shopping centre.
Some of the key features of the health club include a world-class indoor 25m heated pool, 250m running track, group studio, boxing area, steam room, state of the art treadmill technology, design and entertainment featuring the natural sensation of running on a cushioned surface.
The formation of the newly Fit24Gyms Premier Sandton health club is spearheaded by technology and fitness consultant Riaaz Jeena and three of his business partners Dirk Bouwer, Marek Burczak and Stefan Burczak.
“The entire project is self-funded, we don’t have international backers or investors, everything is organic growth and we are happy with how things are unfolding while we grow our brand, adds Riaaz.”
With the high unemployment rate in the country, Fit24Gyms Premier Sandton is planning to do its part to create jobs in the country. “At the moment this facility has already created 20 jobs and the number is going to increase. The additional services that are starting to come online include a new Restaurant & Coffee Shop, Electric Muscle Stimulation, Yoga and much more”.
After hectic and intense training and work out, health club members can relax and refresh in our large jacuzzi, steam room or sauna adds co-founder and head of strategy and acquisition Riaaz Jeena.
Dirk Bouwer who heads up Operations states, “we are going to have exclusive events within the club, from fitness events, seminars and book launches, cocktail parties and networking sessions, it is going to be the place to be for movers and shakers in Sandton. We are also partnering with leading brands to host events complimentary to the Fitness lifestyle. All the work we’re doing is part of the preparations as we think beyond and post covid-19.”
Our facilities offer a one-stop-shop, talks are underway with several Premier Soccer League teams to use our facilities as their base when they visit or come to play in Johannesburg because our facilities cater for their needs, adds Stefan Burczak who heads up Sales and Marketing for the Fit24Gyms Group.
According to Riaaz they are in the final stages of concluding multiple deals on additional facilities and in particular Northriding, Craighall, East Rand as well as Johannesburg South. This is part of the strategy to grow and take the brand across the country and neighbouring African countries within the SADC region. Marek as the visionary behind Fit24Gyms believes firmly in the ambitious plan to conquer the international market to create a brand presence in Dubai, the Middle East in 2024.
