Twitter plans to announce new products and initiatives that support the the new wave of Bitcoin and NFTs community using its platform.
Some of the new features include crypto, NFF authentication and other experiments designed to provide more context about a conversation to those joining in.
The company said is on the verge of announcing a fund in the coming weeks. Rather that its rival, Twitter said the funds seeks to provide audio creators with access to capital, finance, technical capabilities and marketing support.
Twitter Product Lead for Creator Monetisation, Esther Crawford said, “the goal of it really is to provide that technical and marketing expertise,”
Crawford adds, “we think of it as kind of a stopgap solution. We want to onboard these folks into other long-term monetisation features. But we want to give them an initial boost.”
“It’s our first step into decentralising moderation, so that your Twitter is your space,” explained Twitter’s Product Lead for Conversational Safety, Christine Su, adding that Communities would open up to more people “soon.”
