Instagram rolls-out a new profile banner feature that will display a user’s upcoming livestreams. The announcements were made by the company’s head Adam Mosseri on his social media profile.
Mosseri also asked the platform users to reach at him if they have some suggestions or new ideas.
Users would notify their followers about upcoming Lives through a post or Story, the adds. The new feature or badge won’t only be visible to your followers, but also to anyone else who may come across your profile, which could attract more viewers.
These latest move by the social media giant, Instagram is to position themselves and compete with other social media platforms like TikTok, Facebook and Clubhouse. Mosseri said users can now remix any video content on the app, which the platform implemented couple of days ago.
