Land Bank appoints its CFO Khensani Mukhari as acting CEO

Land Bank appointed Khensani Mukhari, its chief financial officer (CFO) as acting chief executive officer until they find a suitable candidate to fill up the position. 

Mukhari appointment comes after the departure of the bank’s CEO Ayanda Kanana, who vacated the Bank on 31 April 2022. 

Mukhari joined the bank two years ago as the chief financial officer. Before joining the bank, she has fourteen years of experience in the financial sector and leadership. 

She’s a qualified chartered accountant and holds a post-graduate Master of Business Leadership (MBL). 

The bank also appointed Dorothy Kobe as acting chief financial officer (CFO) with immediate effect. 

She will hold the position until Mukhari returns to her role as CFO. Kobe is a qualified financial practitioner with 15 years of experience. 

Both Mukhari and Kobe will be supported by the existing executive management team with a wealth of experience and expertise in the financial services sector, and in particular, the agricultural development finance industry. 

The process is currently underway to find a permanent CEO for the bank.
