British Parliament invites Elon Musk to ask him tough Questions related to Twitter

The UK parliament has invited Elon Musk to discuss the future of Twitter and how it will impact the people of the United Kingdom.

The letter from the House of Commons committee chair of Digital, Culture and Sports reads below:

“My committee has noted your proposed acquisition of Twitter and we are interested in the developments you propose,” writes committee chair and MP Julian Knight.

“In particular, your intention to roll out verification for all users echoes our calls on the UK government as part of proposed legislation, which we hope will restore the UK public’s trust in digital platforms.”

Musk is yet to respond to the invitation while some reports say Tesla CEO is not a fan of politicians. As the saying goes power comes with responsibility, one way or the other Musk has to act.

On the other hand, Musk can pull out Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg stands and not show up. During the scandal of Cambridge Analytica data abuse related to Meta then Facebook, Zuckerberg didn’t care to honour the invitation from the House of Commons.

Do you think Musk will respond and honour the invitation?
