The S&P 500 reports the worst Results in 50 years

The stock market ended the first half of 2022 in clumsy fashion.

What’s next? According to a recent survey, the majority of Wall Street investors think that the market will continue its slump for the rest of the year.

Where’s the focus? Dividend-paying stocks. Investors are more likely to invest in stocks that pay a high dividend than large cap tech companies – the trend has shifted since 2020.

A dividend is a portion of the company’s earnings that are paid out to its shareholders. Dividend stocks can provide investors with a source of income during uncertain times.
