Lift Airlines has added a second route to its operations by offering trips between Johannesburg and Durban.
The budget airline will offer three daily return flights between Joburg and Durban, saying it was the most requested route to be added to its schedule.
Demands for new routes is no surprise after the collapse of Comair’s flights, British Airways and Kulula flights.
Flights between OR Tambo International Airport and King Shaka International are now open and the Lift will take off on the 26 October 2022.
This move is a dream come true for Joburg and Durban travellers because, since its launch, Lift has only offered flights between Johannesburg and Cape Town.
As compared to other airlines, Lift is the most affordable airline between Johannesburg and Durban, followed by FlySafair.
The travel business is taking off across the board, after almost 2 and half years of the Covid-19 pandemic. Last week we saw Delta Airlines add new routes between Atlanta, USA and Cape Town International Airport.
