A new tennis star is born! Pro-athlete Naomi Osaka and longtime boyfriend Cordae recently welcomed a baby girl into the world. Making the announcement of the pregnancy earlier this year, this is the first child for the couple, and they are both elated.
“They are doing well,” a source told People.
Generally a private person, Osaka only gave small glimpses into her pregnancy. Her last post gave fans a peek into her pink and purple themed baby shower, in early June. But, it was the initial sonogram post that allowed the four-time grand slam champion to open up about this new chapter of life.
“I realize that life is so short, and I don’t take any moments for granted, every day is a new blessing and adventure. I know that I have so much to look forward to in the future, one thing I’m looking forward to is for my kid to watch one of my matches and tell someone, ‘that’s my mom,’ haha,” Naomi Osaka said in the post.
“I don’t think there’s a perfectly correct path to take in life, but I always felt that if you move forward with good intentions, you’ll find your way eventually.”
