Manchester City released the six-part docu-series ‘Together: Treble Winners’ which is now streaming on Netflix, the global box office. The much anticipated documentary series lifts the veil and gives City super fans the light side of Pep Guardiola and his team during the historic 2022/23 campaign.
The series gives football fans a bird’s eye view when they became only the second English club in history to win the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League in the same season.
City in a blog post about the docu-series said: “Our cameras were switched on for every step of the journey, including the highs and the lows. While there are emphatic early wins over the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea, we look to be losing touch with Premier League leaders Arsenal in January. However, some dramatic team talks from the manager, inspired play from our key figures and incredible support at the Etihad Stadium put us on an unstoppable winning run to go all the way in the three biggest competitions available.”
“Then we see crushing victories against the biggest names in the game, including Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and title challengers Arsenal, as Haaland breaks many records for his unprecedented goalscoring exploits,” adds City.
Man City’s captain Kyle Walker said: “The 2022/23 season was incredible for the players and this football club. To win the Treble is historic and will be remembered for a long time by everyone connected with Manchester City. As players, we’re proud of everything we achieved and this series captures the determination, hard work and togetherness we have as a team to drive us forward and win.”
“We’re grateful to all of our fans who have supported us along the way, we could not have done it without them and I hope they enjoy the series as they relive the special moments that we shared.”
