Entrepreneur and Bathu founder Theo Baloyi have announced the official opening of the Bathu Group Headquarters, centurion, Gauteng.
Baloyi shared the good news on social media: “Fueling entrepreneurship, empowering retail startups, and paving the way for global expansion.”
He added that he is ready to scale his business to new heights and inspires other budding entrepreneurs to do the same.
“This line is a big deal for the brand, as it represents how far we’ve come from our humble beginnings to where we are now—a successful and innovative player in the industry.”
The announcement came at the backdrop after the release his latest sneaker collection, 10/43.
Each sneaker in the 10/43 range is a reflection of Bathu’s commitment to “being authentic and cutting-edge.”
“The 10/43 collection is a tribute to the early days of Bathu and the people who believed in our vision. Back in 2015, Andrew Lale and Siphiwe Majola were instrumental in getting us off the ground. Andrew helped with sales, while Siphiwe was our very first customer, buying the inaugural pair of Bathu sneakers.”
“The name 10/43 holds special significance; it’s where our first sale took place, and you’ll find a map of that location on the back of the sneaker. Our design team put a lot of thought into capturing the essence of that moment through the materials and style of the shoe.
“As we gear up to celebrate our ninth year in business, the launch of the 10/43 range is a reminder of how far we’ve come and the community that has supported us along the way. We invite you to be a part of this journey, honouring our past while looking forward to the future. Let’s walk together toward what’s next!”
