Bassem Youssef, Egyptian-American comedian and political commentator has joined Zeteo, Mehdi Hasan’s media startup. The funnyman and political satirist will guest co-host their new podcast ‘We’re Not Kidding’.

And he’s also the latest addition to the Zeteo line-up. Yes, you read that correctly: the one and only Bassem Youssef is now a contributor, too” reads Zeteo’s newsletter.
Youssef’s fans can expect to see him soon on the channel: “And, next week, Bassem will join me as the first guest co-host on Zeteo’s new podcast, ‘We’re Not Kidding,’ in which we discuss the world’s most serious problems with the world’s funniest people.”
Zeteo, the new channel lately has been appointing several reporters and contributors to join their editorial team, they officially launched two weeks back, on 15 April 2024. Hasan launched the media startup after he left MSNBC and Peacock, their streaming service.
