Premier League outfit Chelsea have announced entertainment company Live Nation as a principal partner and sleeve sponsor. The Live Nation logo to feature on Chelsea men’s and women’s kit sleeves and the deal to run for remainder of 2024/25 season.
The deal sees Live Nation take over as Chelsea’s sleeve sponsor from Fever just months after the club announced a deal with the ticketing and events platform ahead of the ongoing campaign.
SportsPro understands that while Live Nation will take over the sleeve position from Fever, the partnership does not include the broader rights the company held.
Live Nation joins US sportswear giant Nike and cryptocurrency exchange BingX as one of Chelsea’s principal partners and saw its branding on the team’s kits for the first time during the club’s FA Cup defeat away to Brighton and Hove Albion on 8th February.
The company is the latest sponsor announced by Chelsea following the additions of Roobet and Constant Contact last month. However, the English top-flight outfit remains without a front-of-shirt partner, and will likely end the current campaign without one, with just 14 league games remaining.
“We are excited to welcome Live Nation to the club and our family of partners,” said Casper Stylsvig, Chelsea chief revenue officer. “To work in partnership with such a globally recognised company, at a time when our focus is on growth and innovation, will bring huge value to the club.“
Glen Littlewood, senior vice president of marketing at Live Nation UK, added: “The power of live entertainment is key to our business, and although that entertainment usually takes place onstage for us, we look forward to playing our small part in the magic that takes place on-pitch with this partnership with Chelsea FC.“
