Some interesting news from Heineken and Publicis Groupe today: The two, which have been working together for five years, have created a new agency modelcalled Le Pub.
Perhaps most noteworthy is that Le Pub will be located in an Amsterdam bar, although details remain scant. It opens its doors in January.
How exactly Le Pub’s offerings will differ from what the holding company was already doing for Heineken is unclear. Still, the agency said it would leverage Epsilon and Publicis Sapient to integrate creativity, data and brand experiences. Le Pub’s model will combine teams across Milan and Amsterdam.
“In today’s dynamic consumer environment, we need to be able to move quickly and be as relevant as we can for consumers. We are therefore adjusting our agency model,” Heineken’s global senior director Bram Westenbrink said in a statement. “The new partnership with Le Pub is based on providing localized creativity at a global scale, with speed.”
In other news, meditation app Calm was the most 2020 brand partner for CNN’s election coverage. Plus, most brands have stayed relatively quiet since last night’s elections results started rolling in. The Gap did not—and paid the price.
