Soccer star and entrepreneur Cristiano Ronaldo recently opened his latest new hotel in Times Square, New York.
The hotel is home to the Seven Bar & Restaurant, a lobby-level venue serving healthy fare.
The Pestana CR7 Times Square is a cosmopolitan hotel centrally located in midtown Manhattan. Faithful to a sophisticated, vibrant and ever-connected sporty lifestyle, the hotel is the ideal starting point for those who don’t want to miss out on the action of the city, states the hotel’s website.
The brand has hotels in Madeira (where Ronaldo was born and raised), Lisbon and Madrid, Spain.
According to Vanity Fair, Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly selling his Trump Tower apartment for less than half of what he paid for it. The soccer star bought the condo for $18.5 million in 2015, and recently lowered his asking price to just $7.75 million.
However, due to both the pandemic and a lack of offers, Ronaldo once again had to slash the asking price on the condo. According to property records obtained by the outlet from May 19, he is now attempting to offload the property for just $7.75 million, the publications adds.
Since Cristiano opened his own Pestana CR7 hotel in Times Square, it makes sense to sell his apartment at Tump Towers.
According to Forbes, in 2020, he also became the first active team-sport athlete to surpass $1 billion in career earnings, and his four-year contract with Juventus alone is worth an average of $64 million a year. That’s not even taking into consideration his lifetime contract with Nike, which has provided him with lucrative deals that include his CR7-branded clothing line, accessories, hotels, and gyms.
