After almost a year of testing and experimenting with audio chartroom, Twitter space is now available to anyone who wants to host a Space on both Android and iOS.
Prior the current launch of Twitter Space, the company made hosting Spaces only available exclusively on few flowers. Now the company is opening the flood gates for everyone to experience audio Twtter Space.
Twitter said the option will be offered to all its mobile users on the Twitter app. Users are able to start their first Space by tapping on the Compose button, the button they would otherwise use to post a tweet.
Now the audio feature within tech platforms is becoming saturated as a more and more of this companies launch their own versions of audio option.
Twitter compete with the likes of Clubhouse, which became a popular pastime during the height of the pandemic. Now Spaces and Clubhouse compete with the likes of Facebook’s Live Audio Rooms, Spotify Greenroom, Discord, Reddit and others.
