Netflix is always in tune with what its customers and users like most.
The company has rollout a ’Thumbs Up’ and ‘Thumbs Down’ feature to allow subscribers to provide the service with feedback about what type of content they like the most.
To someone the ’Thumbs Up’ and ‘Thumbs Down might look small and invaluable but these options will give the streaming service the knowledge and feedback about their content.
Netflix Director of Product Innovation Christine Doig-Cardet said, “We’ve been hearing from members that it’s important for them to distinguish shows they liked and the shows that they loved and that distinction was important to them.”
“There’s no fixed weight that we’re putting behind that thumbing. It’s just going to be another input that the recommendations take into account,” adds Doig-Cardet.
