[Rumour Report] Our sources tell us that South African-born Comedian and TV host Trevor Noah is been approached by CNN for a possible Night time prime slot. The 9 pm slot is vacant at CNN, the former Daily Show host is the favourite candidate for the job given his Global Appeal.
The channel has been trying to fill up the slot with different hosts and rotating them, unfortunately they’re not finding the right person. Someone like Noah can be the guy for the gig, his smart, funny, global and he understand news and journalism better than some journalists.
This could be the right fit for CNN because the channel is well respected outside the USA & is big in South Africa too. As compared to American hosts, they don’t come close to what Trevor can bring to the table, he has a global fan base anywhere in the world Africa, Asia & Europe.
We were told to wait a little bit longer before the big reveal by CNN’s parent company Warner Bros. Discovery … Only time will tell!
