The South African media veteran Jeremy Maggs to host Moneyweb @ Midday, a 30 minutes midday report show that looks at different breaking news locally and internationally reported in a fast pace format.
A news format like this is not new for someone like Maggs, he hosted a programme like this previously on Power FM, SA FM and Talk Radio 702.
According to the Moneyweb, Moneyweb@Midday covers a broad spectrum of news topics, ranging from business and economics to breaking stories in politics, technology, sport, and society.
“Moneyweb has always been the leading platform for business, financial and investment news in South Africa, but this venture expands the editorial offering to general news,” said Moneyweb editor Ryk van Niekerk.
“The South African political and economic landscape has changed significantly over the past few years, and adding coverage of all news events to our editorial offering has become essential. It is fantastic to have someone with the experience of Maggs to present the show,” adds van Niekerk.
The show is live streamed on the Moneyweb website and its mobile app as well as a podcast on the app, the Moneyweb website, and all major podcast platforms such as Spotify, Google Podcast and Apple Podcasts.
Maggs is a smart man, he managed to find a new ways to keep re-inviting his media career while most of his peers are struggling to find work.
Last year, he joined a the Brave Group to establish a PR and Marketing entity and most recently he partnered with Regenessys Business School to create a media course module to help business executive with media training and how to conduct themselves during radio and television interview.
