Dwayne Johnson’s Project Rock brand has been named as the official global footwear partner of the (UFC) Ultimate Fighting Championship.
As part of the deal UFC fighters, technical and coaching staff will wear Project Rock footwear. The performance brand was created in 2017 by superstar actor and former WWE star Dwayne Johnson and sports brand Under Armour.
The partnership will see the Project Rock brand promoted during live broadcasts, as well as other content published across the UFC’s linear, digital and social media platforms.
Johnson is excited for his brand to be official partner with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
In a statement the Dwayne said, “I am proud, grateful and humbled that my innovative Project Rock training shoe is now the official global footwear partner of UFC. Being ‘the hardest worker in the room’ isn’t just a catchy slogan. It’s my life. But it’s not just my life. It’s the life and soul of every man and woman that competes in UFC.”
“UFC athletes are amongst the greatest, toughest, focused, most disciplined and hardest training athletes on the planet,” said Johnson. “Every walk to the iconic octagon by a UFC fighter is fuelled with passion, mana and the deep desire to establish their dominance and legacy,” he added.
