In 2022, over 4 million people quit their jobs each month, and it looks like this trend isn’t dying off anytime soon.
• A survey showed 40% of U.S. employees are considering leaving their jobs in the next 3-6 months.
Why are workers quitting? Workers are setting off to find better opportunities. This could mean finding better pay and benefits or pursuing new dreams such as getting a degree or starting their own business.
Of those who have already quit:
• 48% switched to a different industry.
• Only 29% returned to a traditional, full-time job.
• 18% either started their own business, went back to school, or reduced their hours to part-time/gig work.
