Hisense has once again proven its global dominance in sound and vision technology, scooping six awards at the prestigious Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) Awards held this month. Celebrating four decades of industry authority, the EISA Awards remain the most influential benchmark for consumer electronics worldwide, as the association is made up of close to 50 specialist magazines from 19 European countries and is regarded as one of the most trusted authorities in consumer electronics.
Their awards are based on independent, expert testing, offering valuable recognition of quality and performance. This year’s recognition spans across Hisense’s cutting-edge TVs, laser projectors, and wireless sound systems – underlining the brand’s relentless drive for innovation and excellence.
“These awards highlight Hisense’s position as a global technology leader while affirming our growing role in the South African market,” says Luna Nortjie, Deputy General Manager at Hisense South Africa. “From giant-screen TVs to portable projectors and cinema-quality sound systems, our mission is to make premium home entertainment more accessible to South Africans than ever before.”
Hisense’s TVs won three of the six awards, for redefining what is capable in terms of television performance. The U8Q (65″) was awarded the EISA Premium Mini LED TV for 2025-2026, the U7Q Pro (65″) won the EISA Best Buy Mini LED TV for 2025-2026 and the mega U7Q (100″) was recognised as EISA’s Best Giant TV for the same period.
All three sets feature Mini LED technology for unparalleled contrast, true blacks, and dazzling brightness. Powered by the Hi-View AI Engine Pro, these TVs intelligently analyse every frame to deliver lifelike detail and colour accuracy – perfect for South Africans seeking the ultimate viewing experience, whether for movies, sport, or gaming.
Gamers in particular will appreciate the 165Hz Game Mode Ultra, with smooth visuals, low latency, and immersive multi-channel surround sound. All models have a built-in subwoofer too, for earth-shaking bass.
Hisense also secured top accolades for its portable and home cinema projectors. The M2 Pro Smart Mini Projector was awarded the EISA Best Family Projector, for offering 4K AI Clarity on screens up to 200 inches. The M2 Pro is versatile enough for a living room wall, an office presentation, or an outdoor movie night, with Advanced Pure Triple-Colour Laser technology. Regardless of the location, the projector will adapt to any screen size, starting at 65″.
The PX3-PRO 4K Smart Laser Cinema went home with the EISA UST Projector Award, for delivering an ultra-realistic picture and colours through Hisense LPU Technology, and supporting Dolby Vision, as well as Dolby Atmos, for truly cinematic immersions. Certified by Xbox, it guarantees seamless gaming with ultra-low latency and blur-free visuals. It allows viewers to project content to sizes ranging from 80 – 150″.
The Hisense HT Saturn Wireless Surround System was next in line, winning the EISA Wireless Surround System Award. The divide comprises four wireless surround sound speakers and a subwoofer. Tuned by Devialet, the system blends with built-in TV audio via Hi-Concerto technology, creating a 720W Dolby Atmos and DTS:X-powered soundscape that transforms any home into a cinema.
The six awards not only reinforce Hisense’s track record of innovation but also confirm that local consumers benefit directly from the same world-class products being recognised internationally.
